Our virtual power plant aggregates several types of energy assets in order to enhance their market potential based on existing mechanisms whilst minimizing the risk of penalties or imbalance.

Developed in-house and continuously improved upon by our team, our virtual power plant operates Agregio’s market positions 24/7 by optimizing, dispatching and managing energy assets.

Our clients’ assets are connected to the virtual power plant via interface solutions offered by Agregio Solutions. This enables us to receive operation date and measurements from the sites in the real time. We then model this date in order to improve our forecasting and optimization performance. This modelling also enables unavailable assets to be substituted for others to ensure power grid balance and help our clients avoid steep penalities.

We have developed forecast algorithms that use different date science and artificial intelligence methods to analyse operating data relayed in real time. By working with our field expert partners whenever necessary, we can also provide forecasts on power generation and consumption, or market price in order to help us to make the best market decisions.

Depending on market conditions and our forecasts, our virtual power plant employs arbitration strategies between all the relevant markets, adding value to electricity and capacities by optimizing client remuneration.

Our virtual power plant interacts in all electricity markets to both optimise generation and flexibility and continuously balance the generation and consumption of our asset portfolio. It also connects with grid operators to communicate any programming, balancing, shaving or reserve actions carried out within the scope of its balancing responsibilities.

Our virtual power plant enables electricity to be transferred from a producer to as consumer. Our solution ensure balance ans supply, as well as the traceability of electricity volumes and the associated green certificates.
